This is the first solo exhibition of Hong Kong artist Hui Wai-keung. As a young contemporary artist working today, Hui is obsessed by the desire to mix "superficial" pop culture and profound divine faith, and places his art works in-between the greyarea of confusion and contradiction. In this exhibition, toyology, he explores serious and even consecrated life issues but in the angle of a kidult, does whatever he wants in the regime of "play" in chaos. Toys and other fashionable objects are adopted as art media. They are still the capsule toys, Lego, Gundam or Hello Kitty, but are presented in different ways.

當代年青藝術工作者許維強之首個個展，展覽題為《toyology 玩物論》，扮演 Kidult 的角色，在玩樂世界中探求人生重要並神聖的課題。展覽中你不難找到扭蛋玩具、Lego 積木、高達、或者 Hello Kitty 這些潮流玩意，但他們卻以另一面目示人。膚淺幼稚的時下玩物與關乎生死的高深哲理看似是風馬牛不相及，但許維強卻將兩者 Mix and Match ，展示當中混沌矛盾的灰色地帶。
